Journeyman Electrician

• Must have a valid Iowa driver license, must have state issued electrical license. Must have the ability to give directions to others. Work with plans and specifications, have knowledge of the electrical code and tools of the trade. 
• Must have the ability to work well with others, supervise apprentice electricians in a manner to complete the assigned job on time and within budget.
• Must be self-motivated.
• Will be responsible for paperwork and its accuracy.
• Able to maintain materials and tools on site.
• Ability to coordinate with other trades.
• Must be able to troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Must be able to identify colors.
• Must have the ability to bend conduit.
• Possible tools that can and will be used are – Power tools, battery operated tools, hand, mechanical or hydraulic benders and or punches, saws, threaders, wire pullers, shovels, rakes, and concrete hammers drills. The ability to drive a fork lift, back hoe, trencher, mini excavator, aerial truck, and or a scissor lift.
• Must maintain a safe work environment and understand Hazcom policies.
• Projects will be indoor and or outdoor. You should be prepared for any weather situation and prepared for the elements.
  

Generator Technician

• Must have a valid driver license, (CDL if required).
• Must have knowledge of the tools of the trade.
• The ability to work well with others.
• Ability to supervise apprentice as well as work with journeyman electricians and other trades. Must have a 2 yr degree in mechanical field of diesel engines (gas degree might be accepted please verify). Gas engine knowledge would be preferred.
• Must be self-motivated.
• Responsible for paperwork and its’ accuracy.
• Manage materials and tools for the job.
• Ability to coordinate with other trades.
• Tools used by the generator division not limited to: load banks, and wide band O2 sensors.
